Sunday's dive started off with all of us at the dock debating not whether the marine forecast was lying to us....but by how much.  The wind had been coming out of the Northeast for a day or so at about 10 knots which usually produces significant waves.  There was rain and storms in the forecast and they were supposed to hit right about when we were to depart.  It was a light trip with only 5 customers which isn't the best financially for the boat, but excellent for us divers with enough crap to support 4 people.  As we left the dock it began to drizzle just a bit, but it subsided within a few minutes, it looked as though it was about to rain any minute, but that rain never really came.  We anchored up to the wreck and due to the cloudiness I was explaining to folks that it may not be very bright down there and they should have their lights ready.  Wrong again! We descended to the Northwest Barges at about 80' and began the day.  It was beautiful.  The visibility was amazing, at least 35-40 feet.  We were all able to cover great distances due to the continuous pieces and excellent viz.  I think we saw more of the wreck Sunday than I ever had before.  We speared a few Sea Bass and caught a few lobsters.  George brought up the rear with the nicest one...  Despite the great viz, we decided much to George's amazement that we wanted to try another wreck and risk the loss of sight for a fresh wreck.  Luckily that paid off.  Carl Radich speared a nice bag full of bass and Jeff Kraft (our fresh ON the boat guy) caught his first lobster on his second dive.  Not bad at all.....

All in all it was a great day.  Everyone was happy, and everyone took home a seafood dinner.
