Another great day on the Atlantic.  Our destination was the Bonanza to load up on some lobsters and hit the Gulf Trade on the way home for our second dive.
As we left the Inlet there where 3-4 foot swells rolling in but real far apart.  You could see awesome surfing waves on the other side of the jetty.  Once the boat broke the inlet we set a course to the Bonanza.  The closer we got, the wind started to blow a little stronger, so we cut our drive short just in case the rollers turned in to waves.
Our first dive was to the Gulf Trade stern section.  The vis was about 10 feet and there was a nice surge on the bottom from the large ground swell being produced by Bertha.  The bottom temperature was a chilly 46 degrees but the wreck still produced.  Vince speared a nice flounder and brought up one bug.  I went inside the wreck and found about a 4 pound-er hiding inside, and took him home for dinner.
After everyone surface the wind had died out and the sea where flat.  We decided to finish the run we started out doing in the morning and headed to the Bonanza and what a great idea that was.  The vis and temperature where about the same but the lobsters were abundant.  Chris J caught 5 lobsters one being over 6lbs, and John C brought up five bugs himself.  A total of 15 lobsters came up off the wreck, a few sea bass and ling.

It was another great day and can't wait to get out again.

I learned how to dive online :D
