Often imitated but not duplicated, a trip to the Arundo on the Sea Lion is always a special trip. Capt Al provided a good crew of Dan Boyland and Tom Fagan and Atlantic provided a fun group including Big John Copeland, Steve Lagreca, Kevin, Guy Harrington and myself. We watched the heavy cruiser maneuver as we neared the wreck. Good visibility and crisp water conditions prevailed. John Copeland adds to the dive story:
It was nice to get out Sunday on the Sea Lion. Some neat stuff came up,Kevin , I think got the neatest thing, a steering wheel from an army truck. Captain Al got some big electric contacts and reported temps of 43 on the bottom and 55 on the hang line. Father Fagan was helping Dan crew and he got some stuff. Gene got dinner. Me, Guy and Steve chilled, we checked out equipment, dry suit seals and practiced some seldom used skills. Most importantly, it was a nice day, with a boat load of friends.
